Other neat touches include the big red GMC emblem in thefront grille, clear plastic for the headlights/taillights, andslightly tinted windows that give the truck a celebrity dispositionthat works great.InteriorThe C/K pickups were all fairly plain and straightforward in theseyears, so the owner of this 95 kept the factory broadclothinterior in tan and kept it in immaculatecondition. Flanking amatching center console, the seats have been covered in tan tweedpattern broadcloth, a pattern thats mirrored on the door panelsand give the cab the upscale feel of a luxury car and the look of asports car - and its all still in great condition. The big stocksteering wheel remains and immediately reminds you that this is amodern truck, as do the original gauges just beyond it. The truckis outfitted with options like cold A/C, power windows and locks,cruise control, a tilt steering column, and the entertainmentsystem is an AM/FM/Cassette stereo head unit. In the back, room forat least 3 more which will be seated on a wide bench stretchingfrom door to door. Breathe it in, right up to the second upper roofconsole with some lighting, fancy storage flip downs, and garagedoor opener bins.DrivetrainUnder the hood in a very clean corrosion and rust free engine bay,sits the original, 350ci V8. It is putting out a proposed 200hp andis fed by EFI. A 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission on back. Thefront and rear pumpkins have 3.42 gears. Stock exhaust and nearlyshowroom appearance, make for an always impressive with thiscondition.UndercarriageThe underside is equally as impressive with some factory forestgreen overspray, plenty of black rust proofing, and nary even asign of any road dirt or for that matter rust. Independent torsionbars are upfront, and in back are leaf springs making up thesuspension. Power disc brakes are upfront, and in back are powerdrums. Like new rubber is all around.Drive-AbilityAn excellent driver, fully functional, fully impressive even can gofully loaded with conveniences options and cargo if you must. Biasfree panic stopping, solid shifting, and smooth acceleration arejust a few of the highlights of this buttoned up 95 example.
